    Purdue injury update

More of a reminder about Durham. He's an animal and he isn't getting much chatter.

    Purdue injury update

They're still a Big Ten team and have Payne Durham. They're dangerous. Maybe not as dangerous as they could be, but they can't be written off as a sure W.

    Purdue tickets left

You hit all the reasons why I'm going to be there! I've wanted to for years, but life gets in the way sometimes, bad weather other times, etc. It's expensive bringing 3 people to the game, but my 8 year old son might love the Gophers even more than I do. I think I'd really regret missing out on...

    Purdue tickets left

Welp, I finally ponied up for tickets. Going to be my first game since 05. Hopefully the Gophers treat us to a fun experience.

Cool plays that happened against MSU

Mo catching a 5 yard pass and absolutely trucking a defensive back. I love watching him do that. Good for at least one of those a game.

Gophs #1 in nation yards per game D; #3 in nation yards per game O

#3 in the nation in offensive yardage.....not bad for a ball control, keep away type offense. Goes to show that you don't NEED a high-flying circus offense to move the ball effectively. I enjoy watching this "relentlessly pulverize your opponent into submission" offense.

Tanner Morgan has never looked like this.

I made this point to my son yesterday when he was confused how the passing game looked so good. I'll just add that having the O-line being solid at pass blocking is key so that Tanner can work through his progressions. Some one will more than likely be open.

Gophers vs. Michigan State: Keys to game, how to watch and who has edge - Andy Greder

Anybody else wonder if MSU's run defense number look good because their pass defense is awful, so opponents simply choose not to run much against them? I've seen the Gophers run the ball against everybody well. Auburn, OSU, PSU, Iowa, Wisconsin, etc. Michigan State doesn't scare me. They'll...

***OFFICIAL COLORADO AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Mo and David Cobb were tied as my favorite post-Maroney Gopher running backs. After that TD, it's clear that Mo is close to LM as my favorite, period.

I'm not sure, but I think the Purdue/Syracuse referee could whoop my ass. Zeesh.

The Athletic: Big Ten’s northwest triangle of hate: ‘All that stuff is real, man’ (MN, IA, wi)

Well, we took one Axe home with us that night. Might as well leave them a different kind of Axe. It's the neighborly thing to do.

5 Greatest College Hockey Programs of All Time (5. Minnesota Gophers)

BC...no way. They've been good for most of the last 25 years. They were almost worthless before Jerry York arrived. Gophers, North Dakota, Michigan, BU, Denver, and UW are almost indistinguishable save for Nattys, which of course is a one and done format. Michigan did their best work in the 50's...

'Talent oozing off the charts': Logan Cooley hype train is rolling

Oh sure, he's oozing and it's all good. When I ooze, all people can say is, "Eww! Gross!" or "Get away from my food!"

Nebraska will likely be better than we think, but not as good as everyone else seems to think.

Top 5 rivalries between college football head coaches (#4. PJ Fleck and Jerry Kill)

I'd say PJ's 3rd biggest rival is not using a timeout on his opening offensive posession. Jer's 3rd biggest rival is trying to not mention his hometown. Otherwise, good list!
