I would agree that they are likely to do better this year- but I am not ruling us out. I really liked what I saw in terms of executing both an offense and defense against NDSU. There is enough ability here, but it will take winning the close ones.
Nobody is against tipping. The point of this thread is that the U is gouging ridiculously for the food being served. $16 for a basic hot dog and a medium pop is insulting.
Grove didn't look lost at all. He will give them minutes and they will need that size at times. What I liked is that when they subbed in, everyone played the same way and stayed in the offense and defense. No one broke down what they were doing. Turner had a few rough minutes with drops. He was...
I like both of them. Reynolds adds needed athleticism and Vaihola is a beast on the boards who seems to know here he is supposed to be at all times. There are plenty of other good shooters in Tyson, Durkin, Asuma. We'll see on Willis as he took few outside shots.
I loved what I saw tonight. Everything was done with pace and proactively. Lots of solid players, probably no great ones but this could be a solid team. We are smallish but still did a really good job on the boards. Nice group of guards and Asuma really fits with Medved. This is going to be fun!
