Alex Kaliakmanis: Trying very hard not to comment on a program that our family decided to cut ties with.

Especially if there are no changes to the offensive strategy or coaches. We may get an answer to the question whether it is the player or the coaching.

I can only assume that Fleck will upgrade our QB position as he has often upgraded other positions...by raiding the MAC powerhouse of Western Michigan! They appear to have seven on the roster...surely they can spare one!

Definitely NOT an Iowa fan as I finally have our traveling Floyd trophy in my possession for the first time in NINE years. You have still avoided my question though, what are the key foundational components that you have seen recently that we should all hold on to and provide you with hope for...

Alex Kaliakmanis: Trying very hard not to comment on a program that our family decided to cut ties with.

A couple of passes...all on the kid...right? So you are happy with the play calling and the way we were totally dominated in the 2nd halves of games? For me this year wasn't even all about the W's, it was about how this team played and was consistently out couched. We were much closer to a...

Alex Kaliakmanis: Trying very hard not to comment on a program that our family decided to cut ties with.

Just out of curiosity, what are the "solid foundations" and cornerstones that are evident to you from this past year that we should all hold firm to? The offensive play-calling, the in-game adjustments that were so evident in 2nd halves this year, the dynamic way the players rallied and fought...

Will be interesting to see how many of the team (or current recruits) are around next year to trip on their own feet!

PJ Fleck compares Gophers' 'line of success' to the stock market

I think next year's average attendance of 36,000 might show that you are not alone.

Shooter: You won’t hear a more professional and objective radio football broadcast than the Gophers’ Mike Grimm and Darrell Thompson.

I guess the bar must be pretty low. Grimm is almost as bad as PA in how many times he needs to correct himself on the players involved, down, yards gained, yards to go. Painful to listen to sometimes.

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT OHIO STATE, LET'S SHOCK THE WORLD IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

PJ should be happy we won the time of possession battle in the first half!

PJ has to be on the hot seat right ? (nevermind ive been told to accept being mediocre when were good enough to be mediocre)

Only because the U doesn’t care about football, and there are not enough Alum/big donors that care enough either. Sit back and expect nothing more.

The headline in the Sunday newspaper will read?...

“Minnesota Considering leaving the Big Ten, MAC most likely destination. PJ gives two thumbs up.”

Time to be honest with ourselves...

Such an worn out argument..."we have to stick with Fleck because there is no one in the world better who would come here!" I would argue that recruiting and players are better with Fleck, but coaching was much better in the previous regime. The same old pathetic preparation, in-game coaching...

All Things P.J. Fleck Rumor Mill Thread - Listed as Candidate for Other Jobs

Define "coach" not sure his in game coaching is always elite. Or his ability to have tough conversations and get rid of a Special Teams coach. He is definitely less Kooky than Harbaugh though.

Gophers 2023 rushing yard leader will be...

I think it will end up being whomever is still standing at the end of the year. Thankfully they have all been able to function very well when needed.
