***OFFICIAL MICHIGAN ST AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

When it comes to off season NIL negotiations, Lindsey needs to demand that the Gophers get a couple receivers that actually catch the ball consistently. Tracy has a nice long reception but drops two in the endzone and another on the key 3rd down before the half. Brutal.

***OFFICIAL MICHIGAN ST AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Even with the same offense as Minnesota's today, Iowa would have at least 10 more points via made field goal and special teams or defensive returns.

That might be the worst kick I've ever seen.

Tracy gets them close to the redzone then fails twice in the redzone. Frustrating.

MSU QB having his way when there's not enough pressure. Playing loose zone on D today?

Coaching hot seats and replacements in the Big 10

Spurrier or Bowden maybe? I believe Day gave up play calling duties last year. Urban Meyer was very innovative on offense but usually had someone calling plays.

    Big 10 Pay-to-View only?

Bigger picture than this thread... but the only things keeping me with a TV package subscription service is sports and convenient DVR functions. With the decline of ESPN, I'm damn close to reverting back to antenna and smart TV with a few a-la-carte subscriptions like Netflix, Prime, Paramount...

Coaching hot seats and replacements in the Big 10

If I'm Penn State, I go after Jeff Brohm hard. He's a Louisville guy, but a few million more a year in compensation including for assistants and a better recruiting pool could matter. After that? Who knows.

    Big 10 Pay-to-View only?

To the OP, I don't think (and hope) the BG10 or any conference isn't dumb enough to place all games on premium streaming networks, especially for networks that aren't available on regular cable/satellite/streaming provider packages like Peacock. In my opinion, the BG10s move to put more games on...

    Big 10 Pay-to-View only?

For once, thanks to the new BG10 TV contract, I couldn't care less that ESPN is being pulled from YouTubeTV or whatever carrier I had at that time. It seems like an annual thing with some networks. No scrambling to free trials at Fubo, Sling, etc. this year.

Howard Sinker: You want another raise, P.J. Fleck? Do better in 2026.

I'd recheck your info. I think Unregistered User is right. Oregon was a very good ranked win. Illinois is no longer ranked.

Reusse: Is P.J. Fleck the answer to lift the Gophers out of mediocrity?

After cooling off from some irrational takes last weekend, I think this is probably the way to go. If Fleck agrees, get him some proven successful professional football staff. I was just looking at Ferentz's time at Iowa for kicks and grins. He won 55% of his games at Iowa his first 9 seasons...

Reusse: Is P.J. Fleck the answer to lift the Gophers out of mediocrity?

Heck, PJ was almost Cignetti in 2019. There was huge enthusiasm coming off that year until COVID happened in 2020 then a million key injuries happened in 2021. It's been a slog since then.

Athletic: There are far more college football jobs on the market than quality coaches

I have a feeling FBS coaches across the county think Cignetti is a bastard for raising the bar too high. Still, it will be near impossible for Indiana to keep winning at current levels. Their schedule next year is much harder.
