CFP 5+11 model gaining traction as leaders eye next steps

I like the 12 teams they currently have. But money talks so I'm sure they'll move to 16. In that case I like the 5+11.

Revisions to roster limits in House vs. NCAA settlement propose ‘grandfathering’ in response to judge’s ultimatum

I think it has more to do with other teams: swimming, golf, track, soccer, lacrosse. Those team had major changes to their roster limits and scholarship.

Shedeur Sanders’ Slide in NFL Draft Cost Him $44 Million

He'll be a cancer in the locker room. Just like Jimmy Bulter or Stephen Diggs, demands a trade and refuse to play.

Hold out!! Tennessee QB Nico Iamaleava did not attend Tennessee spring practice today. He’s been in conversations with Tennessee about a new contract.

That's what I was wondering. So the "Officially Transfer Portal" is unavailable to be seen by the public?

Hold out!! Tennessee QB Nico Iamaleava did not attend Tennessee spring practice today. He’s been in conversations with Tennessee about a new contract.

247Sports is showing him in the portal already. I don't understand that? The portal officially opens April 16th. The coach has not been fired and he's not a grad student ? I know its only a matter of time when he's officially in the portal, but 247Sports should not have him listed now.

    "Simulating brandishing a weapon" penalty

I saw it called in a St. Johns basketball game last week. A player on the court and got a technical foul, after extending two fingers and his thump. The refs saw it right way. The photo of the player on the bench, on the floor shooting, was probably missed by the refs.

Favorite Friday = Who is Your favorite Gophers running back?

I don't remember too many individual performances by any RB, but I remember that game. I was 9 yrs old, digging potatoes out of the garden with my Dad in rural central MN and listening to Ray Christensen on the radio: "Kitzmann left for 6 yrs, Kitzmann right for 4, Kitzmann left for 8"...

Can you imagine is an RB had 57 Carrie's now days? Coach would be fired, before he got into the locker room.

A lot of teams are moving away from spring game. Too afraid of "tampering" and stealing players. New reality of transfer portal and NIL.

In my lifetime from mid 1980's. Fleck Kill Mason Salem Wacker Brewster. - he might of had a higher win percentage, but I couldn't believe anything that came out of his "used car salesman" mouth.
