Frazee quite possibly the weakest AA team to ever earn a #1 seed. They lost to Hawley yesterday and imho it wasn't an upset. Frazee played a 1A schedule and was handled by a pair of 1A schools. Not surprising they lost the 1st game against a school who played in class AA all season

6A is the only class that makes any sense whatsoever in MN high school football. The MSHSL should fix football for the other 330 teams before messing with 6A more. The lower clases have teams playing 4 games in 15 days. Leaves little time for game planning, practice or recovery for the athletes

The investment they spend on baseball and basketball except for a select few is laughable when you take into account that money is going to land 0 scholarship and could be put towards tuition... But logic is hard to come by these days

Not sure if the big Schools dont play guys in the scrimages but in smaller schools that the best way to see if the tweener guys can play. A lot of questions get answered about if you can actually handle so physicality becasue in practice we arent going hard like you are against a different team

I like this idea Maxy. I had brought up an earlier game and that got shot down becasue of the State Fair of all reasons.

I'm not arguing about what the MSHSL says the adjusted numbers are. I did ask where they get those numbers now. There is no way to know what they are now, there really wasn't before. I know of a few schools hosting pizza parties to fill out the free and reduced paperwork to flub enrolment...

I used real enrolment numbers not the adjusted. The real number of students is easy to find... and they didn't make it under the AA line. 2025 AA line is 313 and their adjusted number is 322.

I find it interesting that the MSHSL isn't trying to get the number teams per section in the lower classes more equal. Looking at both 9p and class A section tournaments there are several teams that have byes as the 2 seed in a section and others that the #1 seed has to play. Now I understand...

I agree and disagree with this statement. Football is way more intelecual than most people realize. You can be big, strong, and fast, and line up wrong and give up a td on either side of the ball. There are continuous adjustments made at the LOS you don't see unless you can hear the dialog...

I live in the central part of the state. Here is my .02 on the class A and AA games listed Minneota will win by a large margin. Upsala swanville will win by 3+ scores. A-B-E doesnt have the size, speed, or discipline to play with good teams. Several ineligible players I had heard from grades...
