"Bully," indeed. There werer 41 fouls called in the USC/MD game last night (for comparison's sake, there were 31 in the Gopher game against foul-prone Rutgers and 34 in last night's OSU/MI game).

Just noticed 8 different players have led the Gophers in scoring this season. (Braun would surely make it 9 by now, if not for her injury.)

I was thinking of the men's team tonight, too, but more along the lines of: Rutgers is MN men's team-level awful.

Egad. She had a quadruple double today: 30 points, 21 assists (a one-game state record), 12 rebounds, 12 steals. 113-33 win over poor Hinckley/Finlayson.

It's hard to imagine that she would be here with the team and not play, though, isn't it?

I don't quite understand it but some fans do use "we" meaning the "team" (even though us fans are not part of the team). Could be what's happening here?

Not sure if it was him but that Mallory Heyer offensive foul/charge call was objectively heinous. The Illini player was not set and gave her nowhere to land.

It felt like it would have been a much different game if she had been able to stay on the floor in the first half.

It was a fun crowd as well -- the first I've seen that felt like a factor this season. And Illinois' offense was really lost without McKenzie. Super-stagnant and the Gophers were able to capitalize.

Playing a bit in the shadow of Crump probably didn't help her profile, either.

Drake (105) and UNI (64) have WAY better RPIs than the teams the Gophers are playing. And to those who complain that discussion of the embarrassing schedule comes up too often: It comes up often because it is going to be a huge problem all season long, right up until the day the Gophers just...

I like this team but three cupcake games and I peaced out until the conference season. I guess I'm not alone.

Not sure what your deal is. When I posted the bracketology yesterday, it was indeed the "latest" one, as I said. The new one gives the Gophers a bit more love. But yes, the schedule will be a season-long problem, as evidenced by a currently undefeated team in a power conference being relegated...

Continuing evidence of the problems this lousy schedule/RPI is going to cause: Charlie Creme's latest bracketology has 11 B1G teams in the NCAA tournament, none of them named Minnesota...

I wonder if the poster has seen the team this season, since McKinney, Woodson and Stewart help address some of their issues
