Quite a few were close. CJ Stroud (21), Jayden Daniels (23), Robert Griffin III (22), Mark Sanchez (23), Joe Flacco (23), Andrew Luck (23), Patrick Mahomes (23), Dak Prescott (23), Ben Roethlisberger (22), Lamar Jackson (21), Brock Purdy (22) are some that come to mind. Although Jackson only...

So where we all at 3 games in?

The Gophers loss to Cal feels like the Vikings loss to Atlanta. Football is week to week.

So where we all at 3 games in?

This is a young team. They will be up and down all season. This is the year for growth. Next year is the year to make a run. They still have enough talent to get to 7-8 wins this year.

I don't think Michigan or Nebraska are CFP contenders or even all that good, but they are both better than Iowa/Rutgers.

I'm not sure how that comparison works when Klieman has won 8-10 games in 5 of his first 6 seasons at K State.

Iowa at Rutgers is tonight at 7:00pm

Yeah we beat a MAC team and they couldn't move the ball on us. Meanwhile Rutgers gave up 440 yards and 31 points and nearly lost to a MAC team.

Paul Chryst's 67-26 record doesn't seem so bad now does it Wisconsin? Have fun paying that $25 million buyout and starting over again.

He definitely had some nice throws and also had quite a bit of help from the WRs. It was similar to the 1st half against the Gophers last year where he could do no wrong, then he did nothing in the 2nd half. The Gophers had no business losing that game and it still bothers me.

Both of these teams looked like MAC teams. Neither AK or Gronowski are good QBs yet these defenses made them look like they were.

And yet they are still a worse program than the Gophers

Our secondary is fine, especially against Athan. I'll take Cal and Minnesota over both of these teams.

The same can be said for our more experienced, and more expensive DTs.

All Things 2025 Minnesota Vikings In-Season Thread

I've always been high on McCarthy and I still am. But outside of him, this is the most expensive roster in the NFL. Fall short of the playoffs and Kwesi deserves to be fired. This is not a development season. Dallas Turner had 5 tackles, 1 sack, and 2 QB pressures last week.

All Things 2025 Minnesota Vikings In-Season Thread

Darrisaw makes a huge difference, but much like most of Kwesi's signings, Fries/Kelly have past injury issues. Combine that with a lack of depth due to horrible drafting and this season could be lost quickly. On a positive note, the next three games are winnable and they could come back fairly...

Agree on JJ having no chance so far. I think the OL coach may be a problem
