Ranking all 18 B1G Head Football Coaches

I honestly do think he's more of a team manager. That's ok by me, just means he needs solid coordinators that he can trust to make play calls. To his credit, he showed significant growth this last season in terms of offensive philosophy and he had a few games I thought he really managed well. I...

I'm the perfect blend of middle aged and bored-gopher-fan to love this.

Frustrated with the Perk Selection System — Is It Time for a Lottery Option?

I think the problem - as i see it - is that it seemingly takes quite a long while to rise to the 6000s. At the end of the day, I'm just asking for a handful of slots - maybe 10% to to the everyday joe.

Frustrated with the Perk Selection System — Is It Time for a Lottery Option?

Thanks so much for the insight my friend! It's good context for me. Also - what an awesome thing to be loyal for this many years. Really grateful for fans like you that stuck through thick and thin in the bare years.

Frustrated with the Perk Selection System — Is It Time for a Lottery Option?

Exactly! That's incredibly on point for how I'm feeling. Legit was ready to make my selections the moment I could....and yep, scented candle.

Frustrated with the Perk Selection System — Is It Time for a Lottery Option?

Edit- not sure why the question isn't in a font that's contrasting against the maroon. "Should Gopher Athletics throw regular fans a bone with a perk lottery?"

Frustrated with the Perk Selection System — Is It Time for a Lottery Option?

I’ve been a football season ticket holder for 4 years, donate to Dinkytown Athletes, follow the team obsessively — and yet every year, I get shut out of meaningful perks like tunnel team or on-field access. I’m in third group that makes selections, which basically means I get to pick between a...

$200: the final straw for this Gopher alum & lifelong fan

I haven't decided on week 2 as of yet, but I promise I will remember this message.

$200: the final straw for this Gopher alum & lifelong fan

I mean, if you are looking for cheap Gopher tickets, they are everywhere on the second hand market. On any of the cupcake games each year you can score sub $15 tickets with ease. I can't even get $5 for my season tickets for those early games if I try to sell them. I will always say that there...

$200: the final straw for this Gopher alum & lifelong fan

This town just needs a few more 2019 seasons. We are starved for winners here. If you win, the fans will come. 8 win seasons are just not enough to win the city over in a meaningful way. The Wolves show that if you contend, you will fill the arena fast, even if you have historically been an...

$200: the final straw for this Gopher alum & lifelong fan

It would be incredibly easy for you to head to google to see where Minnesota ranks in quality of life, health outcomes, education, fortune 500, recreation, parks etc. The list goes on and on. Every state has their struggling areas, and we def do, but your initial assessment of Minnesota drips...

$200: the final straw for this Gopher alum & lifelong fan

Boy, posts like this would have you believe MN isn't one of the best states in the country to live in.... have you been South recently, or the Appalachias?

    Offense 79th, Defense 9th

Absolutely! If Max was coming back this year I would be expecting a 2019 or more season. Anecdotally, for me the scar tissue is much older. AK Is just another in a long line of middling arms. Drake doesn't really have hype around him, and AK was unique in that sense.

    Offense 79th, Defense 9th

For sure - and we could have easily one 2 more games and been in CFB playoff bubble talk. Max wasn’t hitting his stride til about mid season.

I'd say QB play is as big a factor as OC.

$200: the final straw for this Gopher alum & lifelong fan

Strange semantics, and by your own logic this is incorrect. The product (a degree), and the service (education) is provided to those who willingly enroll and will pay either via massive loans, subsidies, or straight cold cash. Either way, my core sentiment is that higher ed, much like every...

President Donald Trump to sign executive order establishing national NIL standards amid evolving legislation

I can't tell if you're just a shit-poster, or a low-information poster. That's as nice as I can put it, which is more than you deserve.

$200: the final straw for this Gopher alum & lifelong fan

If you ever really want to get pissed, look at the "student services fee." It's like $550+ on top of tuition. When I worked in a role that supported students, I fucking hated talking about that fee and I was always up front in my feelings on it. The core principle of our society is making money...
