I'm sick and tired of losing to Purdue!

This game will depend on the secondary and the DL. I expect our offense will be able to move the ball, and that if we get a lead, we'll turtle and hope to win. If we can get a few stops against Purdue, that should be enough. I was at the 59 - 56 victory over Purdue at the dome in 1993. The...

This Gophers team is worse than last year. Next year's team will be better. Agree or disagree?

Continuity can be good. Hanging on to Limegrover because of continuity held Kill back. Some change can keep the program from getting stagnant as well. We have had more than our fair share under Fleck. It was similar with Brewster.

Five takeaways from Gophers coach P.J. Fleck’s news conference: Back to fundamentals

Doing the math, we "only" missed 14 tackles vs. tOSU, meaning we averaged 15.5 missed tackles between Rutgers and Cal. That is more concerning to me than missing 14 tackles against tOSU. Maybe the quote on Violent was that we're violently bad at tackling. Again.

Fleck: “I’m proud of our players fight. We didn’t turn the ball over which is really positive for us…We have a really good football team though.”

Not advocating getting rid of Fleck. I don't think that's happening, regardless of what I think. Even if it was the right thing for us right now, I'm not sure we can trust our incompetent AD to make a hire that will take the next step, even if the Admin wanted that to happen (which they don't)...

The Athletic: Is Arch Manning college football’s first flop? Why his slow start feels unprecedented

Check out Uncle Peyton's numbers from his first year. It's not apples to apples, but even if his last name is Manning, he needs time to grow. He didn't play much for two years. I certainly expect that Drake will be a different quarterback next year after going through this season, but he...

Fleck: “I’m proud of our players fight. We didn’t turn the ball over which is really positive for us…We have a really good football team though.”

All teams have bad losses. Never said they didn't. I know that just from my time as a fan of the Gophers. I've seen a lot of them. A couple of bad losses? You're not being honest if you look at that list and only see a couple of bad losses. The trio from 2023 is more than a couple by...

Fleck: “I’m proud of our players fight. We didn’t turn the ball over which is really positive for us…We have a really good football team though.”

You're right. And I didn't say that the only acceptable answer is that Fleck would have won all 13 of these games, even though I think he could have (a few are completely inexcusable). Every team loses games that defy explanation, especially in College Football. I did say he could have and...

the offensive and defensive lines are as bad as they've been under Fleck

Some of this is scheme and the offensive philosophy. You don't control the TOP with big plays. The play calling could be interpreted as focused on 5-yard gains vs. home runs.

This Gophers team is worse than last year. Next year's team will be better. Agree or disagree?

Agree with all of this, except you left out sh!t the bed once or twice during the season (early, late, doesn't matter - Rutgers last year was late in the season).

Fleck: “I’m proud of our players fight. We didn’t turn the ball over which is really positive for us…We have a really good football team though.”

Average, using what he could have/should have delivered. I don't like PJ for several reasons, but the primary one is the number of wins he's left on the table. He has consistently underperformed in comparison to the team's capabilities and its players. 2018: Loss at Illinois. A team that won 2...

What grade would you give Gophers coaches in loss at OSU?

I believe I said very often vs never. Not stewing in anything, also won't refer to average to mediocre as Elite.

What grade would you give Gophers coaches in loss at OSU?

I Guess abandoning your gameplan and identity is an adjustment. How long did it take? Patricia made a few adjustments after one series and shut us down.

What grade would you give Gophers coaches in loss at OSU?

That's not totally true. Ohio State adjusted after the first drive and took a lot of what we did away. I know adjustments n game are something we don't see from our coaches very often, but competent staffs do it all the time.
