Isaac Fruechte Hired as Offensive Coordinator at North Dakota

Isaac's dad helped create an absolute powerhouse at Caledonia producing multiple NFL players, the nations longest (active) win streak at one point with 70+ wins en route to 5 straight state championships. I think he's won 12 state championships as HC total at Caledonia. They absolutely run Class AA.

The things you find on X/Twitter

Seems like PJ was pretty successful with this method in 2017. Notable recruits from that class: Mo Ibrahim (all time leading rusher in school history) John Michael Schmitz (second round draft pick and instant starter in NFL) Esezi Otomewo (5th round pick just like ISM) Tanner Morgan (all time...

    Updated Player Ratings.

I understand your sentiment but Alabama/Georgia (or Ohio State and Michigan in the Big Ten) consistently finish with top classes and it shows on the playing field too.

    New roster is up

I think we will continue to see this with guys who aren't likely NFL talent sticking around to collect some NIL money while they can!

    Non Revenue Generating Sports

In the Big Ten (and Minnesota) I bet it's a lot closer than you think!

    Former Penn State WR Commits

Would LOVE to see if they have Donald Driver around at practices and summer sessions. Would be a great person for the WR's to learn from and get advice from a guy who had over 10K receiving yards in the NFL.

    Tyler Johnson

Nice to see him make the most of his opportunity with the limited play time he got this year in a talented WR Core. Hopefully he can stick around and continue to earn more opportunities or go to a team looking for a nice WR3/WR4!

Brosmer will practice with Gophers in Detroit

Thanks for clarifying but again they will all be active in the team periods and Brosmer will absolutely be the scout team QB to give the 1st team defense the best look possible. The scout team is ran with the plays shown to the players in the huddle during snaps so there's not any sort of...

Brosmer will practice with Gophers in Detroit

I disagree with the spectator part for the transfers. Bowl practices are generally 75% percent focused on getting young guys reps and will likely be the case for Brosmer as well. It might be a little less since Kramer doesn't have starting experience but I bet all of the new guys get plenty of reps.

Brosmer will practice with Gophers in Detroit

This is fairly normal that early enrollees join bowl practices if they are finished with their school. They can't play but are able to join in the activities. Examples below (and the bylaw)...

Logan Fife, qb, commits to the Gophers

I think it's an important caveat that he was a backup due to a good QB room at Fresno State. Jake Haener was just drafted in the 4th round and the guy who replaced him, Mikey Keene, is no slouch either (stats below).

Zach Evans to Enter the Portal

Great example of this is Benny Sapp who left the Gophers because he was burried on the depth chart, transferred to UNI where he became a 3rd team all american, and is now playing for the Packers. Or Chris Streveler who is the only Gopher QB in recent memory that has appeared in an NFL game as a QB.

Zach Evans to Enter the Portal

Went to HS in Rockwall, TX which is about an hour away from Denton so it seems like a natural fit.

    Athan visiting Rutgers

Curious how this goes with Dino as a part of this? Would be surprised if a P5 team is going to offer both of them as a package deal on to get Athan with Dino not cracking any part of the roster even as a special team contributor. Would not be surprised if he was only offered as a PWO at this point.

    Perich, Abasiri & Pretzlaff Watch

It definitely can make it harder to hold on the commitments but Minnesota also can't afford to wait because they don't have the profile that USC and OSU do in order to flip commits late in the recruiting cycle

    Drew Viotto enters transfer portal.

I hear what you're saying, but what would happen if he does play and he balls out? Then he's got numerous more transfer options and more film from the extra bowl practices (that are geared towards underclassman). He'd keep his redshirt either way and then may have gotten to make his college...
