Wow, impressive Jah. He has "it" when he turns the corner vs those poor helpless tackles. All they can do is hold the crap out of him.
I'm guessing Lindenbergh and Ersery are going to be elite at the combine for their position groups.
I'm a big fan of D Jackson and Justin Walley. Jackson has great footwork and can create separation at an elite level.
Anyone remember his TD vs Nebraska last year, or Michigan this year?
How about these two touchdowns vs MSU in 2022?
Walley was the best CB in the B1G this year. Put up your dukes if you think I'm wrong. During his four years there were a couple of times he got burned (deep throw at NW last year was one of them), but he was truly a shutdown cornerback.
My niece was shot in the lower abdomen by a car jacker in ABQ a few months ago. Bullet exited out of her “backside” without hitting an organ or her pelvic bones. We feel really lucky to say the least.
Yeah last year would have been tough for any DC. Not only were there injuries, but the staff really had a down year at bringing in transfers. Other than Jack Henderson I think it was mostly swing and miss last year. This year they hit on most of them.
Only because the NCAA treated SMU football like they treated Minnesota basketball. SMU may have been the biggest name in college football during the Pony Express years.
This better not happen. I think the eye test shows that Indiana is definitely worthy and is good enough to win it all. Yes, OSU handled them, but they also blew the doors off of everyone else they played.
Maybe it was the talent Rossi inherited when he took over in 2018? By just playing solid base defense over whatever Rob Smith was trying to do made Rossi look good.
This year’s defense once Lindenberg got healthy was maybe the best in Fleck’s time here?
Very happy for Ersery and Lindenberg. Ersery was really good against some high end edge guys. I think that once Lindenberg got healthy (arm or shoulder was messed up until maybe USC), the defense improved a ton.
Tanner was really good in 2019 as well. What makes Max better in my opinion is his ability to go through progressions. I don't think Tanner ever became proficient in that regard.
