I actually kind of felt bad for them. That is a brutal 6 game stretch. 3 of those games they will for sure be underdogs and Iowa and Michigan are always tough to predict but you know they are going to play hard. Maryland is an absolute must win for them.

The simple (not so simple) solution is to create conferences and divisions and let the NCAA or whoever is in charge create the schedules similar to how the NFL does. This year the Vikings played the AFC South and NFC West.

I think you are on to something. There really shouldn't be any controversy. The only reason there currently is controversy is because you have humans using their opinions to make up the field.
