    Band Travel?

It's all tongue-in-cheek. I wouldn't let it bother me. I hope everyone going has a great time. As for me, I won't make it but I'm going to pretend Oct. 11th is New Year's Eve and I will party until 12:01 am, wake up in the morning with a hangover, shovel some imaginary snow, and then settle in...

It appears an undefeated college football team ranked in the top 30 of the AP Poll just lost its starting quarterback ... because of an NIL dispute.

With all due respect, that will never happen. The law now says you can't prevent student athletes from profiting from their NIL.

    After 25 years… I’m out

Frustrating losses like this won't keep me away...God knows we've seen a multitude of those and I'm still here. However, what happens in the college football landscape in the next couple of years might.

    Mo comes home!

I assumed he meant Fleck players specifically. I don't know if either want to coach, or can coach. But as long as we're pretending.... For DC I'm going with Carter Coughlin. He seems smart and might have picked up a few things in the NFL. I can't ever see this guy doing anything but football...

    Lincoln Kienholz -

Kienholz's dad grew up in Bird Island and played some sports at Southwest (Minn.) State. I doubt the family hates Minnesota.

Which Team do you hate more Iowa or Wisconsin?

Yup. Growing up in small-town Minnesota way back when, all I heard were Iowa jokes...even on the radio. Any encounter with someone south of the border was a volley of insults and one-liners. Then as a young adult in the early 90s I worked in St. Paul and was exposed to a litany of daily...

Wisconsin player rips QBs helmet off so Alabama's QB has to sit out a play. That rule about sitting out after losing a helmet needs to be discretionary.

We played that game for a while too before I grew tired of and just didn't care anymore and settled on YouTubeTV...for now. It was always funny when the bill was going to go up to around $250/mo. and then somehow, miraculously, after you told them you wanted to cancel, they cold get you down to...

Updated AP Top 25 rankings - Nebraska #23

"Fleck said that in order to make that jump, Minnesota will have to get fans that don’t care about football to commit to regularly attending games." In Minnesota I think you'd have to win 10+ games a year for about 5-6 years with a B1G championship or two sprinkled in there and a good run in...

Culture Counts: Deion Sanders chaotic culture turns into locker room violence in Colorado

I want this team to lose more than I have ever wanted the Badgers or Hawkeyes to lose.

Weather Will be Great Saturday, Go to the Game

I'm going to hold out and wait for that call from my season-ticket-holding buddy who calls 4 hours before kickoff and says he has an extra ticket. However, he usually only calls when I already secured a seat so I'll probably just re-live my chilldhood and listen to the transistor while doing...
