Robert Redford, magnetic Hollywood icon known for his roles in classics like ‘All the President’s Men,’ dies at 89.

Then I qualify. It's been a while, but I recall at the very least liking the written version much better.

Robert Redford, magnetic Hollywood icon known for his roles in classics like ‘All the President’s Men,’ dies at 89.

Apologies in advance for discussing one of my least favorite Redford roles in which should be a celebration of such a Hollywood legend. Additionally, I edited my previous post regarding what I thought was miscasting Redford which is a significant part of why I do not view the film favorably...

Robert Redford, magnetic Hollywood icon known for his roles in classics like ‘All the President’s Men,’ dies at 89.

As a sports geek, I actually really dislike The Natural. While Redford was as fine as always, a large part of it was he 48 years old when it was released. It really stretched credibility that he could portray any kind of an MLB player. I think the scene with "The Whammer" he was supposed to be...

All Things Immaculate Grid-related (MLB, NBA, NFL)

Finding Nemo. Liebold winds up being New Player 1,600 for me, along with 4 others. Jimenez, English, Kriske & Dotson are the other Newbies. I was surprised that there have been 16 MLB All Stars from Mexico. There was only 1 other obvious choice I was confident was a qualifier.

Small detail, about AP setting the NFL rushing record. My main point was while even though Ponder's tenure in Minnesota was lousy, they still overcame that once in n his brief career. There was at least some "hope"', albeit minimal. Ponder was only the #1 starter (start to finish) in that...

Prior to last night, have to go back not 1 but 2 calendar years to find a Regular Season or Playoff game in which the Vikings lost to a team besides the Lions or Rams: 12/31/2023 - Green Bay Packers Speaking of which, going back to earlier this calendar year, the Vikings have looked just god...

What's puzzling is that they did go for it earlier in the game, failed and were fortunate to only surrender a FG to only go down 6-0. Late in the game, down 2 scores to not go for it was "wave the white flag" time essentially, with how efficient the Falcons were running the ball.

If it was a "player to named later" by very definition it would be after the trade deadline. Additionally, teams previously could complete deals on players who cleared waivers through 8/31, just as the Twins did when they acquired Don Baylor in 1987.
