I am rooting for Marcus and always will be. Thankful for what he did for the gophers. That said I am thankful the gophers play a new style of basketball.

The problem is he was hired by Colorado.

On the positive side… I don’t think Colorado has to worry about a QB regressing.

I find this game interesting for a few reasons. The gophers identity seems to be that they will outwork the other team. Will the Michigan game go to their heads? Do they have the talent to overcome less than 100% effort? No clue.

See a lot of victory laps taking place. Just remember that if Ben was 0-9 the doubters would have remained respectful and supportive of the gophers. This thread would definitely not be a cesspool of negativity…

It does make you wonder. He clearly is charting a different direction. No need to convince a transfer that the old ways are done. I do love the fact that nobody can say “yea, but it’s Patino’s recruits.” It really is Ben’s team.

Just want to say I am a massive pessimist… I get that 6-0 is probably a mirage. That said this is better than expected already. A road win vs is still a road win… I am excited for the future of this program with Ben Johnson in charge.
