Kneepkens wants to study medicine. Lehigh is high academic. I’ve been there a number of times. It’s not noted for medical. Minnesota is one of the top medical schools in the country and is affiliated with Mayo. Doesn’t take a giant leap of faith to make the right choice based on Medical. Hm

I believe the same thing was said about Borowicz. That she wasn’t interested in Minnesota. Hmmm!

McKenzie by her own admission is not a good outside shooter. Her game in high school for the most part is going to the basket. That might not play so well in the Big Ten.

We need bigger guards. Right now we, for the most part, we have small guards except for Scalia.

I like McKenzie as well but with her desire to get into the oceanography field it’s more likely that San Diego State or Pepperdine might be her destination followed by Scripps. Another note is that she is 5’8” by her own admission not 5’10”.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction unfortunately. Accepting Mershon as a transfer may mean no Sophie Hart. It is my hope that Gianna Kneepkens quickly commits before something else unexpected happens.

2020 Minnesota State Tournament (and Recruits)

I went last night to the Pav with three granddaughters. You can sit away from everyone if you so choose which we did. All the games were great.

    Potential 2021 in-state recruits

The three top in-state 2021 recruits for the Gopher Women, in my opinion, in no particular order would be Katie Borowicz, Gianna Kneepkens and Sophia Hart!! My hope is that they successfully recruit all three!!

    Gianna Kneepkens

Very true!! Wagner played at the Class AA level but excelled on the AAU circuit!! Obviously Whalen and staff like what they have seen so far otherwise they would not have offered Kneepkens.
