If I’m being honest I don’t think Karlen is a good fit, imo she would play the same position as Heyer and they both should be starters at their respected school. Mal has done too much to lose minutes.

I am hoping Woodson already committed to the Gophers and it’s just not public and it will be like Stewart. One day she will just be signed already.

There is good and bad to everything. I believe you can win with local. I think they will also get more fans eventually with a lot of local talent.

Not that I was worried, because I really think the core wants to do well in Minnesota, but the whole top 6 (and more) commented on Stewart’s post. I think these girls are very invested. I really hope they can get a couple of NCAA tournaments. They deserve it for their loyalty.

Not surprised. I don’t see a ton of playing time if she didn’t get it this year. Dalan wouldn’t surprise me either, but I think it was always going to take her a couple of years. I think she is more of a project.

I think it’s a great tournament. Gophers are getting better each game. Any game/practice comes with risks.

Nebraska’s Annika Stewart was at the game watching her former Wayzata teammates. I wonder if she is looking at either Minnesota or Ndsu for her 5th year.

In my honest opinion I think the top 5 are tournament caliber players. I don’t think they will get any superstars. I would like to see them get a couple of 5th years who can bring leadership and help off the bench. A post and a guard.
