I think that the presumption here is that St Thomas is not now and never will be in our class level and therefore not a competitor. In the future, they might be, especially if they end up in the Big East. Personally, I think St Thomas stuff should be elsewhere. Imagine Cinncinatti having Xavier...

Grier had an awful looking jumper. But I think the comparison is a good one. Reynolds only shot 44 threes- probably wide open shots because they defended the drive and backed off his jumper. Reynolds progression on shooting has been remarkable. FTs he went from 30 to 50 to 65 % over 3 years!

Very Grier like! Grier, for those who don't recall was not a good 3 point shooter (25% or so) but just had the ability to make plays.

You do. But he is not a 3 point shooter- he shot only 44 of them all year. However, his FG% for a guard was incredible at 59%
