I'm okay with it for the overtime, but they should make a rule that once you've gained control in your blue-line zone, you can't skate it out and carry the puck back across the red-line - sort of like the "over-and-back" rule in basketball.

No matter what happens, having the bottom-three is sort of like relegation in European soccer leagues, where if you end up at the bottom of the standings you get relegated to a lower league. The fight to not be relegated makes the season still interesting for fans of those bottom-level teams.

I believe Damian Johnson is the coach at Benilde-St. Margaret's, and previously he was the coach at North St. Paul where he made them a solid team. I wonder if he will stick to coaching at the highschool level or try to move up to college teams? If so, whoever is the next Gopher's coach should...

Obviously wished he would have stayed, but it's good to see a former Gopher making it in the league.
