    Week 13 Bowl Projections Thread

Loss to BG + Loss to IL + Reputation for a very boring offense = no-name bowl in the desert.

Walley graded as top freshman CB

No question Walley has that "it" factor that's so uncommon. On a side note, for all the player rating junkies, how can this be? He's only a 3-star!

In all of these big boy games today, I've noticed

No doubt a complementary passing game is needed for balance and ability to exploit defensive tendencies to win at a high level. However, I disagree with the premise that modern NCAA football teams need to be "passing" teams to win...because it's not true.

In all of these big boy games today, I've noticed

Great data. This thread is funny. In the pass attempt averages, 3 of the 4 CFP teams are #92, #99 and #108. Yeah, an effective passing game is needed to complement and potentially bail out the running game when needed (see the Gopher 2019 offense that passed for more yards than it ran) but...

    CFP Semifinals

Sounds about right. If I had to bet, I'd pick MI to cover. Alabama's defense might have exposed Georgia's offense. Alabama was the best defense GA played all year and Michigan's D is just as good.

It would have been fun seeing Faalele with Kieft go up against #97 for Michigan. Edit add: Gophs blew it vs IA. They would have matched up much better with MI.

    Iowa over Michigan

Michigan punt returner fair catches the ball on the 3-yard line. Dunce. LOL

Well, the LB did catch it... How many dropped interceptions did we see this year?

    CFP

Here's a brain teaser. If Michigan loses tonight, does the CFP pick ND over Michigan even though both had 1 regular season loss with Michigan having a much stronger schedule? (I'm not gonna go back and read the first 4 pages of this thread to see if this has been addressed already)

    CFP

As much as I don't want to see the SEC take up half the spots in the CFP, here we go again. After the 3 teams that are "locks" (if MI wins), the next 3 "contenders" are GA, ND and OSU. Each of the "contenders" has lost to one of "locks" so there could be rematches in the CFP no matter what. The...

Yep. More prevalent close to Mizzou as well. Especially K.C. and south.

In short, a good OL is more cat and less lumber wagon. Maybe the film isn't representative of ability.
