    YTTV dropped ESPN

New find. Fubo has an option called "fan view" for games. It shows game stats and other scores on a sidebar. I don't think YTTV had this. I believed Xfinity has this.

    YTTV dropped ESPN

Yep. An ESPN+ subscription does not get you the regular ESPN channels. You need to subscribe to a full-service TV or streaming provider....which sucks.

    YTTV dropped ESPN

I like YTTV, but Fubo has sports add ons that YTTV can't touch. Way better.

Where the MN Kids Signed: From Strib

I grew up in ND, have good friends that are Bison fans, and still agree with you. I was actually rooting for JMU last night.

    YTTV dropped ESPN

Fubo is close to YTTV in my opinion, and actually has better sports options, but doesn't have YTTV's technical flexibility. YTTV is king there. In Fubo, you need to pay a little extra to get the 1,000 hour DVR while YTTV is unlimited and built into the cost. If you're in an RV, you're probably...

Mike Sanford hired as OC @ Colorado (who apparently have no idea what they are doing)

Yep. It's my impression some people doing the bitching don't watch much college football because it's pretty common elsewhere.

‘This sets me up for greatness’: Shippensburg’s Anthony Smith signs with Minnesota

Kudos to an ambitious kid. Screw the detractors. To quote a famous personality (and oft used intro clip on a local radio show): “Why should anyone aspire to be a common man, an average man? Do you realize what it means to be average? That means you’re the best of the lousiest…and the lousiest...

Where the MN Kids Signed: From Strib

I thought the FM area was a great undergrad college town. Coeds from three different schools...

    YTTV dropped ESPN

The unlimited DVR was the selling point for us. Fubo's 1000 hours isn't bad. I don't think anyone else comes close last time I looked.

    YTTV dropped ESPN

I would have stuck with Xfinity if not for them charging for every TV being used. We use 6 and sometimes 7 TVs. If I recall correctly, the HD boxes were roughly $15/mo and the shitty SD boxes were almost $10/mo and didn't get many HD nor premium channels. It's much more convenient to buy a...

    YTTV dropped ESPN

YTTV dropped ESPN with a quarter left in the NDSU/JMU playoff game last night right when the game was getting good. I now have Fubo. I went to YTTV streaming from Xfinity 2-3 years ago because it was cheaper by > $50/mo. for what we watch and with the number of TVs we use, but that gap is...

Just reading this now. This thread started out as a classic. I can only imagine what the original title thread was.

Lane Kiffin rants about transfer portal: 'They're going where they're going to get paid the most'

Yup. Personally, I think General Mills should put together a Pillsbury Dough Boy campaign using gigantic linemen recruits for promotion. The marketing opportunities are endless.

Lane Kiffin rants about transfer portal: 'They're going where they're going to get paid the most'

Years ago, I watched an old John Wayne film called Trouble Along the Way. He was a football coach that was enlisted by a cash-strapped catholic college to put together a winning (revenue producing) football team. He used money-making incentives to attract entrepreneurial players. This is where...

Lane Kiffin rants about transfer portal: 'They're going where they're going to get paid the most'

Actually, the "old days" pre-WWII were the wild west for college football and player money making. Dave Revsine wrote a great book on that history. NCAA membership and financial aid rulemaking increased in the decades after that. We could be going back to the old days.

Hole Poll: What grade would you give the Gophers Class of 2022 recruiting class?

You all are making the assumption that the player rating data is accurate and reliable. Except for the top players that have been highly vetted with high exposure, the player data is probably sketchy, especially as you move farther way from the big football rating population centers. Are you...

Minnesota/Oregon 2003 Sun Bowl on right now

I was at the Y2K (Sun) Bowl and was also impressed with the local support. Tons of locals were tailgating on the roads winding up to the stadium. Beautiful crisp sunny day in the 60s or so. I thought the smallish stadium built into the side of a hill was iconic. I hated the final game results...

    Defensive Ends......check this out

I think this year's conservative approach, including returner personnel, was influenced by the injury situation.
