Was at the arena early. Watched Payne practicing free throws. I was amazed. It seemed he was making about 80%. At one time he must have made 7 in a row. Hope he can do that in todays game.

Against Nebraska, without Garcia for the most part, the Gophers ended up with 5 players scoring in double figures led by JOJ with 15. Would have been 6 players if Christie would have made one more free throw as he ended up with 9 points. Love to see that kind of balanced scoring. Hope they...

Perhaps it was already mentioned in a previous post, but one thing that really impressed me was the balanced scoring by the Gophers. JOJ-15, Carrington-13, Hawkins-12, Christie-9, Payne-12, Mitchell-12. Five guys in double figures, almost 6. Would like to see this kind of balanced scoring...

The crowd did get into it in the second half, those that were there anyway.. Size of the crowd was a little disappointing to me. Thought there would be more there for a big ten home opener. Hopefully get some more wins and we will see more fans at the game. It was a fun game to watch.
