Mel Tucker DID get fired. With cause.

I read somewhere that the lawyers are invovolved and he has already filed grievance to get paid. THis won't be over for quite some time https://www.9and10news.com/sports/2023/09/17/michigan-state-trying-to-find-out-who-leaked-details-in-mel-tucker-investigation/

Fleck said the Gophers still are awaiting the NCAA's decision on the eligibility of defensive back Craig McDonald.

I believe he also participated in Spring Practice before transferring tough to justify a waiver, unless it is due to some immediate family member issue or provable hardship

I said I'd quit following college sports as soon as we lose a key player via transfer

    Brewster and Colorado

This isn't surprising. Former Denver TE Nate Jackson wrote about his time with Broncos. Brew was his position coach and overlapped when Brew got hired by UMN. He basically called Brew a clown and couldn't fathom how anyone would hire him as a HC.

Football Strategy Discussion - Jacksonville going for 2 last night

I agree with this . Would also add that Jax was playing with house money at that point after being down 27-0. They were not expected to win, why not be more of the win in regulation mindset and not take chances in OT. They had LA on the ropes and a near certain 2pt play from the 1yd line. I...

Is Mark Coyle to blame for losing coaches?

This my thoughts also. In addition, if Rutgers is going open up the wallet for an OC, why was KC the top choice? Seems they could do better, unless it's all about finding someone "gettable" and willing to got to Rutgers

Wow: Kirk Ciarrocca Takes OC Job at Rutgers

How do you judge a resume better than Simon? Entirely subjective. . Any OC with experience has a better resume . Hell Sanford had a better resume

Shooter: People who know say Mike Leach had serious interest in the Gophers job after he was fired in 2009.

This was my thought also. I was in the camp that wanted Leach, but There was zero chance Maturi would take on the baggage that came with Leach While the (false) narrative of Craig James getting him fired was still in the news

    Michael Brown-Stephens

Multiple posters are little bit harsh to be placing so much blame on one player for the Purdue loss. While the missed catch and INT was disappointing, it was hardly the reason the game was lost. After his “drop”, MBS had 3 catches for 52yds, with all catches going for first downs. Hardly a...
