Dating myself but back in the Sun Bowl and Insight Bowl days there were issues around whether the Band would travel. B1G+ institutions are rolling around in much more $$$ now versus then so it's probably not as big a concern. It was nice to have the Band in Charlotte is my better point.

As noted Max put the longer balls so they would not be intercepted but our receivers just didn't have that last extra burst of speed to make good of it. Easy for me to say but that's what I saw. Maybe 2 years together might have addressed this but we'll never know.

Consistency has been identified and I translate that to playing four quarters every game. That's actually a lofty goal even for the blue bloods but that's especially needed for teams where the talent drops off...which is Minnesota. This year at the start was the game of halves...strong play...

As someone else noted Duke's played it up pretty hard like Cheez Its and Pop Tarts. It was more hokie than the Hokies but so be it. Mrs. Billd noted they did not have Duke's as a condiment at the food court. Bad miss there.
