According to the Strib the Demons were paid $500,000 for this game. For just the sheer novelty of this game as a Gophers fan I'd support the AD adding another $100,000 and a side trip to the Mall of America for these guys. Wish them well from here. They need it.

We used to play high schools so there's that comparison. I wonder how the Demons would do against the Mud Dogs?

Billds have already renamed it to the "No Longer Case IH Red Zone" in honor of the original sponsor. A little clunky but better than the odd void and silence coming over the speakers last Thursday before saying "...Red Zone..."

Looked and see all the B1G teams except Northwestern and UCLA are 1-0. Probably need to see the results of Week 4 to see who's got the mo and who does not. Still though very glad the Gophers are not on that first week short list. Been there too many times already in the modern era.

Definitely seemed to be amped up a notch over in Section 211. Losing my hearing so my data is biased but it almost seemed so loud that it distorted more than in the past. The U installed a new LED board here recently from Daktronics. The articles do not mention the sound system though.

"Fans" leave early when we play I-O-W-A or USC or PSU...and they have missed some really great football moments as Gophers. Why would it be any different for the University of Buffalo? We are Bitter Enders that fortunately have generally seen less bitterness than in the past. Progress.
