They weren't good last year and look to have taken another step back.
That was as bad as I've seen an Iowa QB throwing the ball. Which is saying something.
Their DBs on the other hand are usually very solid but look a lot like they did last year. Not good.
For the fellow science fiction nerds out there the first 2 episodes completely blew me away. It sucks that they're only releasing 1 episode per week the rest of the season.

Yeah just Ferentz's style of play and the typical makeup of the team.
He likes to go very run heavy anytime Iowa's up double digits in the 2nd half and that normally keeps games close.
Also bad offense + good defense + good punting means little scoring.
