I thought this was supposed to change under Whalen. Her name alone was supposed to draw all the top in-state recruits. Otherwise, it’s same it ever was, except with a coach with very little experience.

I’m guessing the quality of the premed classes are important.

I also thought it was a very odd comparison, going by the footage of McKenzie.

So it would be interesting to know if Mershon had a similar excuse, or was she just outplayed and lost starter minutes. Somebody said we’re not Baylor, UConn, or Maryland so we should just be happy with what we get. That’s the difference with me. I want to be these clubs, but I can’t really see...

So why isn’t she the #1 prospect in the country? Could it be she’s a great high school player but doesn’t project that well to the next level?

McKenzie kind of has a Rutgers look to me. That team has put many many more players into the WNBA as compared to the Gophers. This may seem harsh or not possible, but it’s true.
