    They finished 3-6 in conference (tied with 3 other teams), ahead of three teams with worse conf records. (NW, Maryland, Purdue) I don't see why this year would be different, but I guess we'll see!

    Clarify: we already had BG on the schedule for whatever it was, around $1.145M? Or something like that. And then we laid down another almost $1M (475 more to BG to ask them to move, and 500 to NW St) to turn this year's game into an FCS cupcake. Anyway, it's done and over. And my opinion...

    Not that I'm aware of. I was going off people in this thread saying he looked like he was trying to get back into the NW St game and what Fleck said in post-game. Do people really think he's out for next week? Man ... bummer!

    So ... that doesn't read better to me, as billd is suggesting ... that reads worse. That to me reads that we paid $1M ($475 extra to BG and $500 to NW St) in order to purposefully schedule an FCS cupcake this year rather than have a second MAC team ......

    Something more than zero happened. Sounds like it won't prevent him from playing against Cal. Awesome! BUT, this guy seems to keep getting hurt. That is not a good sign. We obviously will all hope for the best

    DO folks here agree that the Big Ten should make a rule saying that no more FCS teams are allowed to be scheduled non-conf? I'd like to see a required 10th P4 game be scheduled in non-conf, as the SEC is mandating starting in 2026 and onward.
