***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT RUTGERS "THIS GAME IS PERSONAL" QB BATTLE IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

So far this game has the look of the one team off a big road win, favorite on the road in their next game and ends up coming out flat. The home team coming off a bye after a blow out loss in their last game. Sets up for a nice situational spot for the home dog.

It the D can’t get off the field and make this QB look this good going to be a long day. Need to force some TOs.

I have no issue with someone liking the decision but someone saying I would have thought it was a brilliant call if they made the 1st down is stupid. 4&12 up by 6 at that point of the game no need for that call and give Illinois a short field goal.

Sparky? That’s as weak as the it would have been a brilliant call take.

Missed holding calls the last couple of plays and the announces openly rooting for Illinois was something to behold.

I usually don’t say anything about the announcers or the refs but that dude was practically begging for a PI call.

Big drive coming up. Someone on D has to make a play.

There was no need to “play to win” at the moment of the game and running a fake punt on 4 & 12. Followed that up by going with zero pressure and giving up a 3 & 11. Horrible play calling all around.

Fake punt was a horrible decision. Make them drive the whole field to take the lead instead of half the field. Fleck got exactly what he deserved based on that decision.

You want a "magic number" for Gophers to hear name called on Selection Sunday? Go with 22

22 wins? This squad might get to half that and the Ben Johnson experiment can end.
