I don’t hate Pitino but I was ready for him to be fired. He was given 8 years at the U and it didn’t work out. Pitino can coach and if he continues to have success at New Mexico he will be back coaching in a power conference maybe as soon as next season.

Ben Jacobsen would have been a viable candidate 10-12 years ago. Talk of him being a candidate now is ridiculous. If Jacobsen is introduced as the new head coach Coyle should be fired immediately after it is announced.
