This year he's been statistically one of the worst ten kickers in all of the FBS. I'm not saying he's always that bad, just that I don't have a ton of confidence in him making a game winning field goal right now.

I'm interested to see what the recruits thought about the game last night. I know they all say the visit was great, but that crowd last night didn't disappoint and the game wasn't embarrassing by any means (well maybe for the refs)

wake forest was 3-15 in conference last year, ECU was 2-10 in the American. I'm not saying they won't be better than the gophers this year, just that exposure might not be the only reason for not coming to the gophers.

Wake Forest, clemson, and ECU aren't exactly national powerhouses. I would think their exposure is either the same or less than Minnesota in the B1G.

So, can someone tell me where we're at with this trio? How likely is it that all three come to the gophers? When are we expecting to hear something?

Yes, the hesitation or indecisiveness is a problem. When he drives then someone has to pick him up, but then someone has to cut or he has to shoot a floater, he can't finish at the rim. Maryland used the back screens and back cuts all day when the Gophers over committed on defense.

Gabe got his defender to jump on a number of pump fakes from 3, he just doesn't know what to do after his defender jumps. It almost always ends with him taking a side dribble so slowly that the defender has time to recover. Frustrating.
