Fleck Postgame: “Everything that possibly could go wrong, went wrong. That falls on the head football coach”

Yeah, I mean it feels bad to lose a game that was clearly winnable. I feel like there was a good chance that they get a TD and maybe win if not for the muffed punt. But at the same time the offense wasn't good most of the day so who knows. Defense overall played well. I think the Gophers...

Minnesota At Cal 2025 - Media Predictions

This is a big measuring stick for the Gophers for this point in the season. Cal looks to have a good team this year, so a win could really be a jumping off point for the Gophers heading into the conference schedule.

Can Drake throw the ball 40 yards in the air?

Yeah, It always hits the smartass side of my brain that's thinking, "What? Do they throw bounce passes in football now?". 😂

Can Drake throw the ball 40 yards in the air?

I don't think I ever questioned if he has a strong enough arm so thought the post was odd. But apparently that was a question for some folks.

The Gophers aren't the first team to blow out an FCS team, nor will they be the last.

I think seeing as in college football they don't have preseason games, scheduling one FCS team is fine. It does a few things. It allows the coaches to try some things they normally wouldn't. They get more experience in the offense. Probably most importantly it give some of your backups a...

The Gophers aren't the first team to blow out an FCS team, nor will they be the last.

It's good to be happy about the game. The starters did what they should do vs a far inferior team and the backups and back of the roster guys got to get some experience too. Overall, it was a great day for the program. However, it doesn't mean anything about how you will do against legit power...

Shedeur Sanders’ Slide in NFL Draft Cost Him $44 Million

Well, TBH, when I went to Southwest they were bussing kids from North Minneapolis there. There was a lot about it in the neighborhood. I lived in Uptown, not around Southwest which was much higher income area at the time. There were a lot behavioral issues with those kids. Southwest had gang...

Shedeur Sanders’ Slide in NFL Draft Cost Him $44 Million

I disagree with the last part. The majority of the reason some groups continue to be in the socioeconomic state they are in is single mother, single income homes, and culture that celebrates behavior that's conducive to succeeding in life. If there were more fathers in the household there...

Shedeur Sanders’ Slide in NFL Draft Cost Him $44 Million

Exactly, there is no way that many people legit need asylum from a country that is not at war and there is no persecution going on. It's ridiculous.

Shedeur Sanders’ Slide in NFL Draft Cost Him $44 Million

Social media isn't the best measure. I don't even know what it would have looked like back in the 80's if it existed. Social Media is full of trolls and bots, it's not proof either way. You can find anything you want on social media if you want to find it. I'm talking about real people...

Shedeur Sanders’ Slide in NFL Draft Cost Him $44 Million

Yeah, that's the same for me. I actually lived near Detroit Lakes in the 80's until I was 16, then moved to Minneapolis and went to an inner city school for my last two years of High School. And lived in Minneapolis for 15 years after that. I did see things then that were racist on a regular...

Shedeur Sanders’ Slide in NFL Draft Cost Him $44 Million

See, this is the issue. I don't see how you can possibly look at society today and think racism is still "High" and "rising rapidly". Based on what other than watching the new which is purposely trying to make stories of everything to drive ratings? If you walk around in society and pay...

I also wasn't addressing his situation specifically, just the QB situation. Just in case it came off that way.

Shedeur Sanders’ Slide in NFL Draft Cost Him $44 Million

OK, then at what point is the issue solved? This is the problem with people on this subject. If you think there will ever be a day where there is zero bias (targeting anyone of any race, gender...ect) you are just purposely continuing a divisive culture. There will never be a day where people...

Shedeur Sanders’ Slide in NFL Draft Cost Him $44 Million

I'm not saying talking about Racism perpetuates racism. I'm saying people who think they way you do under estimate the progress made. There is absolutely no proof , today, that there are any issues for black QBs in the NFL. That's the entire point I'm making. But people like you keep going back...

Shedeur Sanders’ Slide in NFL Draft Cost Him $44 Million

Yeah, people like you are the reason this crap will continue for decades more. People like you can be presented overwhelming evidence that black QBs no longer experience much, if any problems regarding getting to play, if deserving, in the NFL. You will always say, "Well 50 years ago..blah...

Cal names True Freshman as Starting QB.

He looked good but Oregon St had one of the worst defenses last year and doesn't appear to be better this season. We will see what happens when Cal plays VS the Gophers defense that is much more formidable. I'm not worried about this guy as of now.
