Hate this team so much

Actually really surprised by this based on BGSU and Illinois games. Makes the lack of passing game (and to some extent Morgan’s ability to run) all the more frustrating.

I think fleck has built a good foundation here with culture (no off the field issues, good academics) and brand. He’s also a good enough recruiter to keep us competitive in the West. But I hope after this season he realizes that he can’t let his preferences for ball control and conservatism...

Ironically, we have a very Kill-esque team this year. Above average defense with a team that can run the ball against bad front sevens but not against good teams and that struggles mightily to pass. Only difference is unlike Jerry’s squads, our QB can’t run.

I care so much more about beating those teams than winning the West. I get that there is a ton of overlap there, but if you gave me the option to win both and not win the West, I’d take it in a heartbeat.
