Who hires hm away? The U won't fire him even of he goes 2-10 this and next year.

    Be honest!!!

Can we look at these Facts in this ridiculous conversation? Illinois 3 years B1G conference games prior to Bret "Summer's Eve" Bielema: 8-18 (.308) Illinois first 3 years B1G games under Bret "Summer's Eve" Bielema: 12-15 (.444) + 4 wins / +.136 With one more opportunity Minnesota 3 years B1G...

    That's a bit excessive, don't you think?

Lots of negativity on this board for a team that should be 3-1

i think the bigger problem would be if we did have a gimme tbh 2021 Bowling Green 2022 Purdue 2023 Northwestern, Illinois, Purdue again All gimmes. All losses.

    Be honest!!!

He gets out-coached, because he's not a coach. He's the CEO. Which can work when you have competent managers to run the show. When you hire interns to start running the show, don't let them make any decisions, and only have a one trick approach, generally you fail to succeed.

Michigan fans think Gophers will be tough battle for Wolverines

With an offensive line that has regressed. A defense that looks the same as the not-good one last year, and things on offense are so bad, we appear to have changed our offensive identity after the season started, it ain't looking good. Even though Michigan is down, it's unlikely we'll beat...

CBS NFL Mock Draft: Round 1 - Pick 28 (Aireontae Ersery; "Ersery is a gargantuan specimen with his best football in front of him.")

Wherever he lands, I hope it's at a place that actually has an O line and he can be successful. 2nd overall pick seems a little lofty, however. He's no Demetrius Underwood, but is he really a top 10 pick?

It appears an undefeated college football team ranked in the top 30 of the AP Poll just lost its starting quarterback ... because of an NIL dispute.

I'm just shocked McMurphy didn't work into his tweet that all of this makes it likely UNLV will pursue Fleck as their new head coach after the conference title games. He appears to be on PJs or PJ's agent's payroll. The sad thing is both things can be true and this is bad. Bad for the kid. Bad...

Fleck again takes the blame but cites major problem with missed tackles

In fairness to Fleck, the concept of what he's try to get across is there. Now if he was articulate enough to actually use the English language, he might have said: Winning football games comes down to winning the battles in the game: Lose the turnover margin, it's harder to win. Lose the...

Fleck again takes the blame but cites major problem with missed tackles

He has doubled down on this on more than one occasion. This loss is on me. Then.... We had a great gameplan but we just didn't execute. So was it all in you? Or you're perfect and the players just screwed up? And on the point of getting ripped no mater what he says, Fleck, makes this worse...

    Half time adjustments (lack thereof)

That was when the regents felt that college athletics were getting out of hand, and decided to take a stand. It also was when big time professional sports became a thing in the Twin Cities with the Vikings and the Twins (the Lakers left in 1960, but the NBA was not a major sport nationally at...

Roll call of everyone who is done with this program

I'd offer that there are many people who have not quit the program, but have no faith in the current coaching staff and see no reason to believe that Fleck will magically gain a spine, learn how to coach and put substance on the field over his "style." So I will continue to love the Gophers, my...

    Half time adjustments (lack thereof)

There is one major difference between the Universtiy of Minneota and the University of Wisconsin and University of Iowa when it comes to football. The administrations at Iowa and Wisconsin believe that the investment in football is integral to the success of the academic institution, whereas...

Gophers ahead of Michigan State, Wisconsin, UCLA, Northwestern, Purdue in ESPN Power Index, Behind Rutgers, Illinois and Nebraska

You're right. I didn't look at the rankings. We're actually 13th, not 15th. Purdue and Northwestern are below us as well. We're getting better already. A little positive thinking and ignoring reality, we're going to win the National Title if not this year, then certainly next.

Gophers ahead of Michigan State, Wisconsin, UCLA, Northwestern, Purdue in ESPN Power Index, Behind Rutgers, Illinois and Nebraska

We're also ranked 8th in the NCAA for yards allowed. I think both of these stats mean about the exact same thing. Also FPI Projected Records: Michigan State: 6-6 Minnesota: 5-7 Wisconsin: 5-7 UCLA: 3-9 How lovely that in year 8 PJ has taken the program to the wuthering heights of, based on...

Fleck again takes the blame but cites major problem with missed tackles

We stopped using passing game that was working in the 2nd qtr. We stopped blocking the Iowa defensive line We introduced the Olé tackling approach. Clearly we made adjustments. Like his use (abuse) of the word Elite, I just don't think Peej knows what an adjustment is.

    Anyone See Another Win?

Love your optimism. If we win four this will be as good as season as we can get with the chaos that is our current program. in year eight. Injuries, fluke games, etc. happen all the time in College Football so I may be wrong, but outside of UCLA, I really don't even see another win and their...

Brosmer is not the problem, but your comments on the D didn't age well.
