    Week 3 Other Games Thread

Think it’s a relative thing. One you’re nearer to spread offense, mobile players in Cincinnati vs recruiting grounds locally are ground and pound at Wisconsin. So drop in talent plus local recruits that don’t fit your system and you’re having to reach more (see trying to land a transfer qb every...

Dan Lanning shares Oregon has spoken with Big Ten about uneven preparation in his team's schedule (Lanning cites Gopher game)

lol k Dan Obviously if the game wasn't happening in Iowa, pj would just be taking a nap and not at all planning for the next week. there is no film on oregon available anywhere for review

Also some interesting winds around some ncaa committed guys that they are in wait and see mode on remaining in chl until they sign an elc or waiting until they age out to come down to ncaa despite already being committed

All Things 2025 Minnesota Wild Offseason

Feels kind of like they’re all waiting on each other and I’d expect them all to sign bridge deals. Eichel maybe a little more likely to take the long one with his injury history though

This is the common sense answer. There’s no incentive to KK to sign an 8 year deal when he can get that deal at a higher cap in 3-4 years

Some of that is Williams still holds the ball waaaaay too long, but agree they being a ton more to the defense and still stuffed the run while doing it. This is in part the benefit of going to JJM is it gave us an extra 10-15mil/yr to sign guys like this

All Things 2025 Minnesota Vikings In-Season Thread

this is slightly the part that i'm still in wait and see mode. JJM was clear deer in headlights almost throughout the game (he's still slow delivering the ball, but he got to the right read eventually), but the biggest difference was their offense kept getting bounced off the field and our OL...

The NIL era - a before and after line with mixed levels of success for coaches/schools around the country

My .02 on this is its a couple of things, some of which is decided on by the coach and another is what the program is. It is very, very clear PJ knows who he is and what the Gopher football program will be (and I think we see similar things with Motzko in hockey, which pisses people off). He...

It wasn’t so unsure why that’s a mentioned hypothetical. There was really no scenario he shouldn’t have brought that ball out and was pretty brain dead from Chicago unless he told them he could kick it through the end zone

Have to let jjm push it downfield more in the second half. You’re not going to go down the field 3-5 yds at a time consistently. Also liked the no huddle early. Simplify for him, and tell him to stop audibling repeatedly lol
