Yeah I feel like that statement just gets thrown out as a lazy and thoughtless criticism. Not that conservatism only means running vs passing, but it's a lazy take. I don't think any of those losses have been due to being overly conservative. You could maybe argue 2021, but even then I don't agree.

If I had to project I'd say Ziemer is a lock, Mooney on the bubble about 50/50, Rombach and Whipple each unlikely, maybe an outside shot for Whipple. Moe and Kvasnicka almost certainly won't make it.

I was listening to the TV broadcast as I did yardwork for a few innings. I'd get excited and run to my phone when I heard the crowd roar but then had to remember it was such a pro-Cubs crowd that the cheers were usually for the away team.
