The time has come... move the band

If you go to an SEC baseball game, the outfield is often a massive party (BYOB), standing room tickets, people are playing flip cup while the game is going on, etc. It's not an awful idea to do something like that for football games.

All about Max Brosmer Making the Cut

Trey Lance is a zero chance (IMO). If they go get a QB, it'll be someone that isn't a development guy, it'll be someone KOC trusts can pick up the playbook and make the right decisions.

All about Max Brosmer Making the Cut

I hear you but here is the production from the QB position at Michigan was not good before or after JJ McCarthy and the guys before him (Cade McNamara and Shea Patterson) had probably more offensive talent around them. If Nico Collins played with JJ McCarthy, he probably would have been a top 5...

Agreed. The Varland trade feels like they just liked the return.

All about Max Brosmer Making the Cut

I don't think Cousins comes into play unless he negotiates a buyout with the Falcons. We aren't paying him the $28 million per year. That said, a buyout is certainly a possibility and he could be had for something similar to Daniel Jones received. That said, Cousins and the Falcons are probably...

All about Max Brosmer Making the Cut

JJ probably goes in the top 3 rounds and Max probably goes in like the 5th. JJ McCarthy is bigger, faster, stronger, bigger arm and 2 years younger than Brosmer.

Justin Walley listed as starting CB for the Colts.

Yep. He was one of those players where the experts just overthought it.

MLV Coming to Minnesota January 2026

The pictures haven't been helpful. Can someone describe the uniforms real quick? I need to know if I care or not about this.

Justin Walley listed as starting CB for the Colts.

Walley was one of those guys that always seemed way better than he was bring graded in the pre-draft stuff. I saw him as low as a 6th or 7th rounder on some sites. He was consistently good in college.

Ersery listed as starting RT for the Texans.

I don't know if it brings me great joy or if it pains me to say this but Graham Mertz was awesome at Florida.

All Things 2025 Minnesota Twins In-Season Thread

If I am the owner/manager, the players I want to build around are the ones who would be pissed at the team having a firesale when they are only 5-6 games out. As a fan, I didn't consider us a contender and I wanted us to trade off pieces, but I would want players who would be pissed about last...

I actually believe them with this. I tend to disagree but the Varland move feels like a pure baseball move, it's just one I disagreed with.

Typical Souhan stuff. He follows enough to notice some folks are slightly annoyed at the trades and that the ownership is cheap and then he assumes that annoyance centers on Correa. He doesn't follow sports enough to fully understand the situation and he's too arrogant to do 8 minutes of research.

All Things 2025 Minnesota Timberwolves Off-Season Thread

Sneaky good signing. We got him really cheap. Good shooter with decent size for a wing. He was really fun to watch in college. Downside? It might free up more minutes for guys like Dante to play PG minutes.

All Things 2025 Minnesota Timberwolves Off-Season Thread

I like Finch and I disagree with him on this point, but I don't think Finch cares at all about having a traditional PG. I would not be shocked if it ends up being a combo of Dante, Ant, Clark and Dilly being the lead ball handler when Conley isn't in the game. There are a bunch of guys still...

Tommies finish with 3 NET top 122 opponents (updated Sept. 3)

As a fan of the Gophers first, I am worried we missed our opportunity to slap these guys around for a few years.

Students paying students: How the U is trying to stay competitive in athletics

It is wrong. NCAA college football is nearly as lucrative as every sports league outside of the NFL with a fraction of the costs while operating as a supposed "non-profit". If they can't find the money in the immense amount of revenue flowing into these schools then i'd love to see where all...

Damian Lillard going home back to Portland

I saw that Carmelo Anthony tweeted when Dame got cut implying that the Bucks were an example of lacking loyalty. Carmelo's biggest problem is that he's just a dumb person. Lillard made his money and gets to recover and rehab at home. The Bucks were being generous to Dame.
