AJ Turner will have a few more rushing yards than Darius, because Turner will break some long ones. But Darius will catch 50 passes as well, and will be the leader by far in All Purpose Yards.

With Cardenas gone, the current Gopher roster—by my count—stands at 109. Last I heard, the 2025 roster limit is 105, which would mean that four more rostered players must be dropped. That is, unless the 2025 roster limit has some fudge factors that I forgot about. Anybody remember?

Agree. In our first two games the Gophers O typically look as though the squad members just got introduced to each other the day before. OL line usually plays like it has never seen a stunt or blitz. Settles down by game 3.

The bad is pretty bad …

Probably not. But if we get Voss and Petersohn, we'll certainly be much higher than last year. But we take some mid to lower three stars as develpopment projects--wise policy, but pretty much guarantees, math-wise, no top 25 class.

If Cal’s defense is subpar, the Gophs should be able to grind the Bears down, even if Cal’s offense is good. Still, I’d like to blow Cal out of the water.
