Daniel Jackson released by the Texans

I think the Vikings should have all ex-Gopher players. They would win the Super Bowl every year.

Shedeur Sanders’ Slide in NFL Draft Cost Him $44 Million

Hmm okay. Well I think every person regardless of color deserves to be judged on their own actions and merits. I don't think we are going to agree on that, so might be best to end this conversation now and call it a day.

Shedeur Sanders’ Slide in NFL Draft Cost Him $44 Million

The NFL cares about money and winning. You can always count on that.

Shedeur Sanders’ Slide in NFL Draft Cost Him $44 Million

I get what you are oleboy, but I do think that outrage or taking massive offense to a charge of racism is natural. It’s a serious thing to allege(as it should be) that can ruin people whether it is true or not. But I don’t really think race was much of a factor in Sanders case. I think that...

Shedeur Sanders’ Slide in NFL Draft Cost Him $44 Million

I think there will always be polarizing because of his playing style. Manziel being the other glaring example. The scrambling gunslinger is fun to watch and very effective in college and it makes sense that we want that style to be effective in the NFL, but it just isn’t.

Shedeur Sanders’ Slide in NFL Draft Cost Him $44 Million

More just the usual suspects. Jason Whitlock, Jemelle Hill. But they make everything about race, so take it with a grain of salt. I’ve seen more outrage from Kiper, Orlovsky etc.. they are mad because they spent so much time hyping him and it turns out the NFL didn’t value him near the same...

Marisa Moseley and Wisconsin sued by five former players

The complaint has kind of bizarre information. Usually complaints in these situations are more about coaches ignoring or downplaying mental issues whereas Moseley sounds like she was overly involved in at least one players mental health. It is strange that a coach would act this way. It is...

    Brosmer in Vikings Game

Do the Vikings have an international player? I see you get an extra practice squad spot if your player is international.

CBS is ending ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ next year

Very true. Watch Amazon or AppleTV. Not one show that doesn’t carry with it some underlying political message. But many people instinctively turn away from that. Hollywood is in full on panic mode that movie after move is bombing and this year looks to be one of the worst. Colbert is another...

    Brosmer in Vikings Game

I could maybe see a vet doing it as they are paid the rate at which they signed for, like Wentz. But I highly doubt Brosmer would turn down a huge pay increase and a chance to be on an active roster to stay with the Vikings.

Scoggins: ‘Culture’ is more than just a word for P.J. Fleck and the Gophers

I think it is great that he does this. Even in this day and age of NIL, transfers, and a few more pros coming out of our program, most of these guys are going to have to go out in the world and live a normal life with a normal job where financial literacy and etiquette can go a long ways. I...

    Brosmer in Vikings Game

I would think that he will be on the active roster as well. There are a number of other teams that have this same situation. Ewers in Miami, Leonard in Indy to name a couple. Rookies who have impressed but who are probably QB3. The decision is a tough one as it would be ideal to not use a...

    Brosmer in Vikings Game

I was referring to outside of GH. And no I would say they haven’t changed. The talking of heads have said that he has looked good and had a real chance to make the roster or try to get snuck through to the practice squad. That appears to be about right.

Still No Statement from Ben Johnson

I think it is more of a running joke now.

    Week 0 Other Games Thread

That was a long time ago. And the conference has had so much turnover, 15 years ago isn’t very relevant.

Northwestern’s motion to dismiss the wrongful termination lawsuit brought by former coach Pat Fitzgerald was denied today, Fitz seeking $130MM.

And you could be right, but even if he did exactly what they said, the issue is still more about whether that justified the actions NW took. Institutional control is important, but it is a tough case to make legally that a coach or supervisor should be aware of everything in their organization.
