Minnesota’s Corey Hetherman new defensive coordinator at Miami

Fleck did take the OC back, and look at what loyalty was returned to him 2 years later. So I wouldn't take him back, but I think Fleck would. This to me is another gut punch. I thought at the end of the year we might have something finally with the coordinators as I really never did think...

    Daniels in portal

.... and if that's true, who exactly will be taking OSU to task? You know, many of these guys, if not all of them and most certainly any high profile players, have agents working for them now and those are the people in contact with interested schools.

    Serious conversation

Wait a second, when have we ever hit 25 for recruiting, or even below 30? I would say we consistently hit 37-50. We do get some good players no doubt but the overall talent level we recruit across the board will keep us where we are.

    Shadeur Sanders

It won't, which is why he'll be traded

    Shadeur Sanders

I think he lands with the Cowboys..

Roll call of everyone who is done with this program

Very well said, and so very true. This is not bingo anymore, we have truly reached the big time with College sports and it's either compete, or don't. Fleck is not taking us anywhere as he's just unable to recruit the players needed. How is Iowa and Wisconsin able to consistently recruit...

Fleck Postgame: "Unacceptable, falls on me." (video)

I can't wait to hear what he has to say after next weeks road kill game.

Gophers football missed whopping 22 tackles in loss to North Carolina

Muffed catch in the end zone? That was a bad throw and if the defender turns around, it's a pick. It was thrown behind the defender so the receiver barely had a chance to even see the ball. He had almost zero chance at catching that ball! He would have had to TwistHISMelon around the...

Max Brosmer vowing to be more efficient after disappointing debut

Not a chance is he this tall or weigh that much! EDIT: I just read (I should read these threads before commenting) that someone saw him at the SF and he is that tall... that is hard to believe, but ok. Looked like a High Schooler on the field with College guys to me.

Happy Five, Upset Five Fanbases: Week 1 (Upset: Minnesota; "This game showed us zero imagination and risk from the Gophers")

I love this post! This is a point that seems to be lost with our fan base. When was the last time (OR has it ever happened under Fleck?) we 'upset' a team we should never have beaten because we did enough, or prevented enough from happening, where we hung around and won the game with a huge...

What grade would you give Max Brosmer in his first game with the Gophers?

You're wrong - but I can see how you would think that is what he meant as he stumbled a bit with the question about finding Max through the portal by saying they were looking for depth at that time (as they still had the other QB's). Harbaugh then says, and these are direct quotes "then...

What grade would you give Max Brosmer in his first game with the Gophers?

What? If what you say is true, which I don't think it is as I don't recall reading that, you would normally have an accomplished player ahead of this person if it's for depth. The QB room was almost completely empty due to nearly all of them transferring! He was brought in to start from...

    This is spot on.

Or you fumble on your 16... or... or... you know what I mean.

Y'all are blaming the wrong thing for that loss...

I've said #2 on here many times before! It's this way with ALL coordinators IMO, not just the OC. This is why the ST stink and the Defense, while not looking bad (look at NC's offense though) last night, will also show gaping holes this year me thinks.

What grade would you give Max Brosmer in his first game with the Gophers?

Along with being short and tiny.. I see a ton of blocked passes this year if he remains the starter.

***OFFICIAL NORTH CAROLINA AT MINNESOTA 2024 SEASON OPENER IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

AK did actually do just that though in our first game last year against Nebraska. Not saying he's going to be missed, just the comparison between the 2 after 1 game, doesn't look stellar for Brosmer.

***OFFICIAL NORTH CAROLINA AT MINNESOTA 2024 SEASON OPENER IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Trust me I'm no fan of AK and definitely felt it was time to move on from him as last year was as dismal as it can get, or so I thought. I had very high hopes for Brosmer coming into this game BUT his size (have we had a QB smaller than him recently?) and his reaction to the pressure and what...

***OFFICIAL NORTH CAROLINA AT MINNESOTA 2024 SEASON OPENER IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

We're gonna find out as they're going to be coming from behind quite a bit I think so we'll see if he can sling it. I'm certainly not sold as to me, he looked like a high school QB.
