All about Max Brosmer Making the Cut

Nope. But I had no idea they would actually consider a washed up Wentz instead.

The Vikings must like what Wentz brings as far as mentorship and helping JJ out more than Howell. I would much rather watch Howell or Brosmer play over Wentz if JJ goes down.

Darnold has more talent, no major injury concerns, and is nearly 5 years younger than Wentz. Howell is far more comparable to Darnold than Wentz is.

All about Max Brosmer Making the Cut

Howell is going to be QB2, that's why he didn't play last night. Preseason stats mean very little but Howell was good in game 1. He only played 3 series in game 2 when he wasn't very good so that was a pretty small sample size. I think the Vikings will figure out a way to keep Max as QB3.

If Howell was in danger of getting cut, I think he would have played last night.

I think the hype on TreyVeon Henderson is a bit out of control right now. He still has to battle with Stevenson and Gibson for touches, and he's never been a RB who can carry the load and stay healthy. It also seems that many are down on Kaleb Johnson. It would not surprise me if Johnson ended...

Orlovsky said that the Vikings should offer a mid round pick for AR, not that they did. Orlovsky has been repeatedly been beating the drum that AR should be starting QB for the Colts. Orlovsky is also an idiot.

This is the truth. They already have 2 hail mary QBs on the roster who are infinitely better at playing QB than Richardson, and they don't cost anything additional.

Why would you even waste a 6th rounder on him? He's literally never been a good QB at any point in his HS, college, or pro career. Mitch Leidner was a better college QB than him.

Who knows? JJ could get hurt in game 1 or never get hurt. The Vikings are 1 season removed from starting 4 different QBs. Sam Howell does not have a lack of talent. He was considered a top 5 pick heading into his final season, then he was up and down that season and is on the smaller side...

All Things 2025 Minnesota Vikings In-Season Thread

So if you need a backup to win some games, you would rather have one who can't stay healthy? That doesn't make sense. Howell is still only 24 and has not only been a better passer in the NFL so far, but his college numbers blow Richardson's out of the water. Richardson is just another big...

Because he's a worse QB than Sam Howell. And he can't stay healthy.

    Brosmer in Vikings Game

I think Rypien is gone and that's an easy decision. The only discussion is if they carry 3 QBs on the 53 man roster.

    Brosmer in Vikings Game

It would be surprising if they didn't hang onto Howell too. He has plenty of talent and is the same age as Brosmer, at least for a few more weeks.
