This is why having Syracuse as an opponent sucked. They lost 5 of their last 6 before facing us. Beating them really did not move the needle and give us a great chance of being in the Top 25. Beating a ranked opponent in the Pinstripe would have given us a much better chance.

Beat Syracuse and they will have lost 6 of their last 7 games. Not the type of opponent where beating them helps us move up much in the polls. Losing to them would be a huge downer and a terrible end to the season.

Was excited to have a bowl in a warm climate or nice place to visit or a bowl against an interesting and exciting opponent where we are definitely the underdogs and with this got neither. Ugh!

Bad risk IMO. I would have been upset with PJ if he left our Qb in limping and unable to move the way their Qb was. Lucky he wasn't more severely hurt. Backup started the second half and promptly threw for a TD.

I know LSU needed something before half but why the h*ll was Kelly leaving his quarterback in. He could barely make it to the line of scrimmage he was limping so badly. Lucky he's still upright.
