$200: the final straw for this Gopher alum & lifelong fan

I live in a similar state, very high sales tax, very high vehicle registration, etc. That is characteristic of a regressive tax system. They get you one way or another. But if you are a high earner there is potential to avoid more taxes as a % of your income.

The Gophers need to get into the statue-erecting business too outside of Huntington Bank Stadium.

Over the years we have gotten some good players out of western PA. I think its Milfred "Bubby" Holmes. Did not realize that he died last year. https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/legacyremembers/milfred-bubby-holmes-obituary?id=55243866

ANNUAL GOPHERHOLE PICTORIAL COUNTDOWN TO GOPHERS SEASON OPENER!!

It was a different game. I was attended the North Dakota game. I think that Brian Grover of St Louis Park was UND's QB.

I will be more than surprised if Indiana ends this season as #16. Overrated IMHO.

    BYU QB Reportedly Transferring

I know, for some reason there are people who care about more than what happens in our own lives. The attack that happened at the Southern Israel concert has no effect on my life. The destruction of Gaza has no direct effect on my life. But I care about what happened at that concert and what is...

    BYU QB Reportedly Transferring

My wife went there and I think what I bolded is correct. However, I think that once every two weeks or so they can have the opposite sex in their dorm rooms for a couple of hours on Sunday afternoons, with the door open. Glad I didn't go there.

Which road game are you going to?

OK, I live out of state so the Buffalo game is "away" for me. I just learned that I will be attending. The wife noted that we have a buy one get one ticket on Delta. It has to used by Aug 31, so our choices were limited. After thinking about it, I believe that her logic is two-fold, and it's not...

2027 QB Furian Inferrera has Flipped his Commitment from Boston College to Minnesota!

It looks like their legendary coach, Bruce Rollinson, retired a couple of years ago. He was right out of Central Casting, big mustache and gravelly voice. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Rollinson

Paul Finebaum: What's a loss from your favorite sports team you still can't get over?

I wrote a supportive letter, although I was pissed about the game. When Wacker's nephew, Tim Schade, called an audible to a pass (incomplete) that stopped the clock and pretty much provided Illinois with the chance to win. His letter was friendly and apprecialive.

Paul Finebaum: What's a loss from your favorite sports team you still can't get over?

I was a grad student in Columbia, SC and watched the game in a bar. I was absolutely sick after the game. I wrote Wacker a letter and he wrote one back!
