Daniel Jackson released by the Texans

Vikings should pick him up. It’ll be good for Brosmer to have a familiar receiver when he takes over the QB1 job next months.

All about Max Brosmer Making the Cut

Rookie QB debut rankings Brosmer ranked 8 out of 17 on this list, ahead of several drafted QBs. Mertz ranked dead last (lol). A lot of drafted QBs who played terribly.

    Brosmer in Vikings Game

Interesting conundrum. On one hand, if you go with Max over Rypien, you have a really young, inexperienced QB room. On the other hand, Rypien stinks.

    Different Vibe

Having a reputation for having good culture probably helps a lot in the NIL era. Probably a decent amount of parents who figure that if their son is going to be making 6-7 figures before he can even drink, he should probably have some good influences on his college team. Not going to work on...

Big Ten QB Power Rankings: Post-spring tiers for every B1G QB room (Very worrisome: Minnesota (Drake Lindsey))

People writing articles need to learn that it’s fine to make a “TBD” category. Sometimes an unknown is just an unknown.

Haven’t been rated this high for awhile

He has 5 more pass attempts than Michigan’s presumptive starter yet they aren’t on the list because 5 Star. I get that having little experience makes it tough to judge a QB but it’s a bit dumb to call it “bleak” just because a guy is an unknown quantity. Seems like the transfer portal era has...

Sporting News: Ex-Gophers QB Max Brosmer has ‘legitimate shot’ to make Vikings 53-man roster

Mostly because he’s an unknown quantity at this point. Rypien is confirmed to be a mid QB who will never be more than a clipboard holder. While I don’t know how good Max will be, it’s plausible that he could have a higher ceiling than Rypien.

Sporting News: Ex-Gophers QB Max Brosmer has ‘legitimate shot’ to make Vikings 53-man roster

Cheaper than Rypien, more potential, and probably just as good at holding a clipboard. Would expect him to get a practice spot squad at least and be the third QB on game days.

Gopher trip to Wrigley this November

When they played the Penn State white out game I got tickets through gopher athletics and it was much cheaper than it would have been on secondary market.

    Early Mock Draft - Gophers

Wow, Walley way earlier than I would have expected. Great praise for Minnesota and PJ from the broadcasters as well.

Hold out!! Tennessee QB Nico Iamaleava did not attend Tennessee spring practice today. He’s been in conversations with Tennessee about a new contract.

It’s a tricky discussion because NIL is the right solution for the vast majority of college athletes. Nobody was ever going to pay cross country runners or field hockey players big money, but it seems fair that they can use their position as athletes to make a bit of money on the side through...

What's Your Favorite College Football Stadium?

On game days, Montana’s stadium holds enough people for it to be as populated as the seventh largest town in the entire state. I was there for the FCS semifinals two years ago and that place was rocking.
