He sucks. The fact that he is PJ’s biggest mentor sucks, too. The game this year against those nards was really hard to deal with.

Sun Country gets in the Game

Eye sores. Love that whole area, but the fact that knuckleheads think you have to tear down every $300,000 cabin and build one 3,000,000+ is a blight.

Yeah, it kinda is — how many kids stick around here on scholarship stay healthy and never or hardly contribute and use up all their eligibility without transferring or otherwise moving on?

Cut isn’t the right word but if coaches think it’s time for a player to move on, he moves on one way or another.

All Things 2024/25 College Football Transfer Portal Thread

I don’t think the Georgia fans are pining for him to come back. It was kind of painful to watch him play this year and then the whole deal with the Lamborghini and all that move onto the next level let’s see if you got it.

I’m cool with taking the kid. I just think the guys like Gibbens, Robinson, Brosmer, Henderson at all have been more impactful than the folks that you mentioned. Let’s hope he comes in here and rips it up.

Historically, this isn’t the type of portal get that has come in and lit it up for us. I like the kids better who were high achievers at lower levels or non P4 schools.

Coaches show kids the door all the time and let them know their time is up and they need a new home. May not classify as yanking scholarships but they aren’t just going to let someone stick around if they aren’t improving or if they are over their head.

Good get – – it would be really nice if we could start getting some Ernie Wheelright body types. Bigger always trumps smaller even at WR and we seem to always be flush with the latter.

Seems I may be in the minority, but I hold out hope that our homegrown kids are going to develop enough to were one or two of these transfers become depth guys.

    Lindenberg Declares for NFL

No LB who has played for the Gophers the past 30 years has had a nose for the ball quite like Cashman. Gibbens may be a close second. That said, and as mentioned above, Lindenberg has more measurables. We are blessed to have watched both of them play one from Eden Prairie one from Anoka pretty cool.

    Lindenberg Declares for NFL

Hindsight is 2020 but let’s say the NFL knew that Cashman was going to play like he is right now. What round do you think you would’ve been drafted in?

My guess is if we compare the overall staff that PJ has to see what Mason had. It’s probably two or three times as large. The staff sizes kept up with the workload.

    Lindenberg Declares for NFL

Cashman had multiple shoulder surgeries in college. I don’t think Lindenberg‘s hamstring injury from last year is going to affect anything. He played this whole year without missing a snap.

WTF dude. Our departing left tackle says hello from the first round of the draft.

If the D players had taken a better angle he would have never gotten a TD.

A whole lot of we USD business school grads are doing just fine – – but “great” probably more aptly applies to the Carlson school at the U.
