If you have a bookmaker who offers odds on him (mine does not), I think Koi at 300:1 odds for the Heisman is an intriguing bet. https://www.bettingpros.com/ncaaf/odds/player-futures/koi-perich/ Same odds as the wisconsin QB, the QB from Western Kentucky, some WR from Michigan State, etc. If...

    Old Gophers Recruiting Video

For me, this is the most detailed color footage I have ever seen of the old Memorial Stadium, and of the Gophers before I began watching them on TV in the later '80s But the old weight room with the paneling (around the 4:30 mark) is the star of the show It looks like a couple of small low...

Ersery started for the Texans today and only played one series. Which counts as a huge vote of confidence for a rookie. He'll be a Week 1 starter for them.

All about Max Brosmer Making the Cut

Brosmer made good reads and threw the ball very well. The fumble was ugly but he looked like he belonged as a passer. On track to at least make the practice squad.

    Brosmer in Vikings Game

It's stupid the whole point of the preseason game is to get reps for the guys down the roster for evaluation. (and to soak season ticket holders for 2 more games) Who cares what the final score is? Will someone's feelings get hurt if the first preseason game ends up 27-10?

    Brosmer in Vikings Game

Why are they kneeling in a preseason game like this? Isn't this to get guys reps and the score doesn't count?

Is this AI? - Minnesota Golden Gophers Football Season Preview: The Big 10 Sleeper?

Why would it be "stealing one" to get a home win vs. a wisconsin team the Gophers beat by 17 in Madison last year? When the Gophers have won the Axe 3 of the last 4 years. Otherwise I like his thesis.

Gophers quarterback Drake Lindsey shows off big arm in practices - Pioneer Press

And someone who can catch the high velocity ball. There were many cases in the AK season where he put a lot of mustard on short throws and zipped it right through the hands of a receiver.

What happened to the concept of a Non-Qualifier?

Seems to me like both parts of this argument are correct. The Fleck Era has recruited fewer academically marginal players, encouraged a stronger culture of responsibility, and has seen the program's APR rise to be one of the best in major college football. And it's also become exceedingly rare...

All about Max Brosmer Making the Cut

This is the thing that makes me nervous about JJ McCarthy. He violates my #1 pet rule for QBs...uncommon success on an okay team without all the advantages. For example, I loved Dak Prescott and Russell Wilson coming out of college for those reasons...making Mississippi State and NC State good...

How's OL looking at this point?

Offensive lines can change a lot over the course of a few weeks and definitely over a few months, without changing the players I've been a part of a couple football teams that got stomped on the LoS in August in scrimmages and then beat the same opponent into a pulp in October. We'll see when...
