I've watched quite a few tourney games this year from different conferences, and attendance seems awful across the board, it's not just the B1G.

I would think that would be where they would be most flexible. You could have a situation where a very small school might qualify for 1A based on total student population, but if it had an unusually large population of girls vs. guys for a couple seasons, making it harder to play 11 man...

Every AD has some sort of a budget. Sure, some SEC football programs and Oregon probably have insanely wealthy booster groups that buyout and pay for new coaches like it's nothing, but you can't tell me that schools like the U - Indiana, Illinois, Purdue, Wisconsin, Iowa, Iowa State, Missouri...

In person attendance for hoops is a drop in the bucket financially compared to TV money, Football, and revenue sharing.
