I'd recommend getting those VHS tapes converted over to disc (not like DVD's are a super modern platform anymore either, but still). Had a bunch of my home made VHS recordings of a bunch of Clem era games shifted over to DVD like 10 years ago. Often times will put them on after getting home...

Yea, our attendance issues are NOTHING compared to Penn State, Maryland, Iowa, etc etc. (probably more). Neither is the Barn close to the lowest rung in terms of atmosphere.

Weak. I was 0-7 at Kinnick Stadium until we broke through in 2023. And each of those trips included a 4+ hour drive each way. The game is in your back yard, you gotta keep going. The eventual breakthrough win will be even sweeter when it happens.

Barreiro's Gopher "sources" are specious as best. He also has a radio relationship with Mussleman. It's selfishly good for his business to claim that we could've had him multiple times.

Before the season I was a tourney bid or new coach time guy, like most everyone else. But now...if we somehow finish 10-10 this season after starting 0-6, I could be convinced/could see a world where that buys Ben another year. Not saying I'd support that, but would that be super outrageous...

So beating Purdue, making that nice run in the BTT, and beating Louisville for our 2nd tournament win since the scandal did "more harm than good"...got it! Think we've now heard it all.

I honestly have no idea. Voted for 6 more which seems very attainable the way we are playing right now, brand new team. Anything between the 3 through 7 range wouldn't shock me... 8-9 would be stunning, as would only picking off another 1-2.

Plus the Akeem Springs achilles injury in the BTT that season. That team was absolutely loaded and on a complete roll coming into the tournament. MTSU was a really tough draw but we'll never know how things would've gone if we'd had Mason and Springs healthy...

I'd actually think this will be a draw for the students. The only time they actually showed up this year was for the MSU game/jersey giveaway. Granted like half of them left at halftime, but that's another story.
