    Carrington to Return to Gophers

From the Strib: Gophers sophomore guard Braeden Carrington is back from his leave of absence to deal with his mental health and progressing toward playing again, coach Ben Johnson said Wednesday. The Gophers (9-3) announced Carrington's indefinite leave of absence on Dec. 12 after his social...

Bowling Green coach Scot Loeffler at postgame podium to a reporter: “They couldn’t throw it from me to you.”

There were a couple of games where if our tight end got a pass like the one Kramer threw instead of a wild fast ball, we might have had a win instead of a loss.

Wow! Jerry Kill is stepping down as head coach at New Mexico State.

Ah, Sir Spoofin is mounting his steed to go back on his crusade to get rid of PJ. It was tough when PJ had a winning record, but obviously Sir Spoofin senses a weakness again.:ROFLMAO:

P.J. Fleck to keynote MN Ag Expo in Mankato

Quite sure "that crowd" aren't the ones driving tractors and shoveling shit in their barns if that's what you're thinking.

Brady Pretzlaff de commits from MN.

Well, Perich said, "Nothing is a done deal," after visiting Ohio State. Come to think of it, that gives me the same amount of confidence that I had when Tyus Jones said the Gophers were in his Final Five or Top Three or whatever the hell it was when he knew already damn well knew that he was...

Rossi leaving for DC at Michigan St

I pretty much agree. Last year I would have been really bummed, but after watching the defense give up chunks of yardage game after game, it's not ruining my day. Main worry is that we might lose a couple of recruits, but there were no guarantees there either.

Janel McCarville returns to coach her alma mater

The most vivid memory I have from the Glory Days of Lindsay and Janel is that pick Janel set at mid-court on that poor player from Virginia. (I think Virginia, but I can still see her crumbling and being helped to the bench.)

***OFFICIAL FGCU VS MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

I hate that we have a freshman who looks like he might be the best guard since Amir (and might eventually be better) and we're already worried about losing him before the BIG season really gets going. Somebody please fix this portal/NIL crap.

STrib: Gophers coach Ben Johnson called the Nebraska win the most important of his career

Ben is at the point now where almost anything he says is teeing it up for a faction here on GH. Still, I can see his point. Garcia is out for the rest of the game and they are down big at halftime. Nobody thought they had a prayer; but they won; his players might have discovered something about...

P.J. Fleck names Cole Kramer as Gophers starting quarterback for Quick Lane Bowl

Has nothing to do with Cole. I'd guess most fans are very happy for him and interested in seeing how he'll do. It's the "We have plenty of options." Um ... no we don't PJ. Putting a densive back out there behind center or running a single wing or punting after every 3 plays are not really...
